Redesign Tourist Dump 01-2010
Entry for Design Manifestation course. Assignment was to design (a part of a) specific public space with the qualities of another, well chosen, but very different public space.
I chose to redesign the tourist dump in Delft with the qualities of the renewed public library of Delft. After a context study of both environments several concepts were born to improve the tourist dump in Delft. Some of the concepts were: a photo booth bus stop, waving street lights, changeable chairs, an eye in the sky (security camera concept) and a responsive bin.
